Chivalric Freemasonry The Grand Council of Knight Masons is a Sovereign Masonic Order with control of the ancient Irish degrees known as the Red Cross or Babylonian Degrees. These ancient Irish Degrees of Knight Masonry are of high esoteric and symbolic value and the building of the second Temple forms the theme. This year, Persia Council, No. 8, has been dedicated as our Research body for further discovery of our history. Councils now number 93 and are located in Ireland; Ohio, U.S.A.; South Africa; Hong Kong; Jamaica; Tasmania; Australia; India; Gibraltar and New Zealand: more are due to be Constituted and Dedicated in 2008. Craft Masons, advanced as Mark Master Masons and Royal Arch Masons, are eligible to become Knight Masons, thus attaining the rank and dignity of the complete series of degrees within Irish Universal Masonry. Thank you for visiting us.
